Multiple Tweets Say "Hold on a Minute" on Moss Situation

Jason Lacanfora, Jay Glazer, Chris Mortensen, and Adam Schefter all tweet that Randy Moss has not been waived...YET. NFL.com says that Vikings head coach Brad Childress told the team that Moss would no longer be on the team. The story continues with a statement from Moss' agent : "Randy is very sad to find out about being waived by the Vikings this morning," Moss' agent, Joel Segal, said in an e-mail to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "He has and always will remain fond of the fans in Minnesota. We will let the process of the waiver wire take its course and we will move on from there."

The bold headline at NFL.com says the Moss is still an Viking at this time. The rub is here: on nfl.com's transaction page, Randy Moss is listed as being cut by Minnesota.

11/2/10 EDIT: Michael Lombardi of NFLN says this statement from Moss' agent is erroneous. Lombardi said Segal never sent an email to the Star Tribune. This will undoubtedly all unfold in the next day or so.
